In some circumstances there will employees whose work patterns or payments are so variable that it is difficult to work out their Relevant pay rate for “Other Leave” such as Public Holidays, Alternative Leave, Sick Leave etc. In light of this we have added an option to pay the employee their Average Daily Pay which will be calculated by the system using the gross earnings for the previous 52 weeks divided by the number of days worked. If enabled this Average Daily Pay rate will be used for days worked (at time and a half) and days not worked. If you feel this could apply to your employees, we suggest you discuss this option with the Support team prior to turning it on.
